Walk the Line 2024

A huge congratulations to Toetujoetina Lilo who recently competed in the Walk the Line Fashion Competition—a special event for students who are wanting to pursue a career in the Fashion Industry.

Toetujoetina was selected as one of the finalists and had the incredible opportunity to showcase her designs to leading Fashion Industry professionals.

The competition featured five categories: High Fashion, Streetwear, Avant-Garde, Cultural Fashion, and Throwback Fashion.

Toetujoetina created a stunning garment inspired by the Samoan Goddess of War, Nafanua, blending contemporary design with natural and sustainable materials. The beautiful garment was modelled by Sala Tua, and both girls represented James Cook High School with pride and excellence. We’re thrilled to announce that Toetujoetina won the Cultural Fashion Category! We are incredibly proud of her hard work, creativity, and dedication to her craft.
