Food Technician

We are seeking a reliable and organised Food Technician to support our Food Technology department. This is a vital role that ensures smooth day-to-day operation of our food classrooms, contributing to a safe and productive learning environment for our students.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and organise ingredients and equipment for practical lessons
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic food preparation environment
  • Order and manage stock and supplies
  • Support teachers with lesson preparation and class activities
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures

Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Experience in a food preparation or kitchen environment (school or commercial)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Good communication and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and students
  • A strong sense of hygiene, safety, and responsibility
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn school systems and processes

 Hours and Position Details

This is a part-time, term-time only position. 20 Hours per week.
Start date: Pending Police Vetting
