2019 has been pivotal for our school. All the hard work of the last two years has laid strong foundations for success. This year we have not only built on these foundations, we are also starting to reap the benefits.

In all the measures of a school’s success our school has improved. From student achievement to finances; stand-downs and suspensions to curriculum development; and the like, our school has made significant gains, and will continue to do so.

To the extent that our progress has been recognised by the NZ Qualifications Authority, Ministry of Education, and the Education Review Office.

I welcome the scrutiny and transparency that these agencies offer us. So, we are have asked to them to continue to work with us, sometimes in innovative ways. Always looking at how they can add further value to our school.

I am incredibly proud of our students, our staff, our Board and those who have helped our school; and appreciative of what they are all achieving or doing.

Congratulations and Farewell to the students who are leaving our school and going onto further study or employment. Continue to hold onto our school values as you step into your next venture, and all the very best for your futures.

Kia kaha, kia maia, kia manawanui – Be brave, be strong, be steadfast

Wishing you all a safe and relaxing Festive Season,
