Girls´ Uniforms

The table below outlines the standard and optional senior girls uniforms for James Cook High School.

Students at Year 12 and 13 may continue to wear the standard uniform, or may wear the optional senior uniform described below. The optional uniform must be worn exactly as per regulation.

No alternative garments will be accepted, nor combinations of items from the standard uniform with items from the optional senior uniform, except where specified.

Skirt          Regulation blue, gold and white tartan skirt by Bromleywear Regulation navy skirt by Somerset, style 737/15 "Bridget". Regulation navy trousers by Somerset, style 737/15 "Naomi" may be worn as an alternative.                             
Blouse Regulation cream blouse by Argyll                          Regulation white blouse with distinctive collar and pointed hem detail by Somerset, style 393/06 "Lynne"
Blazer n/a Regulation blazer by Somerset with school monogram. (Optional)
Tie n/a navy with diagonal gold stripe and school monogram. (Optional)

Cardigan

Jersey

Regulation royal blue with gold stripes by Remar. same as compulsory
Jacket Regulation navy with gold facings by ULC or MCC same as compulsory
Socks Plain white ankle or knee length socks. Blue, black or skin-coloured pantihose may be worn in Terms 2 and 3. same as compulsory
Shoes Black leather shoes in acceptable style, with heel no higher than 3 cms. Suede shoes and sports shoes are forbidden with school uniform same as compulsory
Sandals Black or brown sandals (single colour) in acceptable style with open toe and back ankle strap. Sandals are optional and must not be worn with socks same as compulsory
Cap Regulation royal blue with 'JC'monogram or single colour royal or navy blue with no other colour, words or emblem. (Optional) same as compulsory

Notes

Where other garments are worn under the uniform for extra warmth, these must be in plain cream or white only, and must not be visible at neck, sleeve or hem lines.

For health and hygiene reasons, sandals may not be worn with socks or pantihose.
